This app is intended for adult use only and is not designed for independent use by children. 1. Information We Collect and How We Collect It We collect information in the following ways: A. Information You Provide Directly When you create an account, use our services, or communicate with us, we collect: • Parent/Caregiver Information: Email address, name (optional), and account login credentials. • Child Profile Information: First name, age or birthdate, communication level, interests, preferred activities, and session notes — all entered by a parent or guardian on behalf of the child. • Program Progress Data: Session completion records, confidence ratings, activity feedback, and word/sound observations. • Reminder Preferences: Email address for reminders, preferred reminder times, and selected days. • Payment Information: When you subscribe, your payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card number or payment details on our servers — Stripe handles all payment processing. B. Information Collected Automatically When you use the app, we automatically collect: • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version. • Usage Information: Features used, sessions completed, and interactions within the app. • Technical Information: IP address and approximate location derived from IP. 2. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect to: • Provide, personalize, and maintain your 30-day program experience • Track and display your child's developmental progress within the app • Send optional session reminders and progress emails (if enabled by you) • Process subscription payments and manage your subscription • Improve app features, content, and user experience • Ensure account security and prevent unauthorized access • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries • Send important account-related notifications 3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Service Providers We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information with the following categories of third-party service providers who help us operate the app: • Payment Processing: Stripe (stripe.com) processes subscription payments. Stripe collects and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. • Cloud Storage and Media: Cloudinary (cloudinary.com) hosts images and media content used within the app. • Email Delivery: We use email service providers to send reminders, progress emails, and account communications. • Analytics: We may use analytics tools to understand app usage and improve features. To delete your account and associated data: • Within the app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your child profiles, session progress, word observations, and reminder settings. • By contacting us: Email support@growingtogetherspeech.com and we will process your request within 30 days. 5. Your Rights and Consent You have the following rights regarding your data: • Access and Update: View and update your account information at any time in Settings. • Delete Your Account: Delete your account and associated data from within the app or by contacting us. • Opt Out of Communications: Disable email reminders in Settings at any time. • Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw consent for data collection by deleting your account. • Request Data Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data.
